Nude London Tech Calendar 2010
Oh go on, it's for charity... #LDNnudetech
We're assembling a Calendar Girls-style nude charity calendar, featuring stars of the London tech scene, to go on sale in November 2009.
Take Heart India is a youth-run charity focused on IT education projects in India for blind and disabled students. The charity doesn't employ anyone, so 100% of proceeds are spent on education projects. Take Heart is guided by the principle that “Work builds, charity destroys”: rather than giving money to people, Take Heart empowers through practical education and skills training.

Sidestepping the usual slapstick comedy and animal tricks, a number of advertisers tried to score during Sunday's Super Bowl with commercials that tapped into men's ambivalence with their everyday lives.
In the battle among advertisers, Unilever's Dove, Chrysler LLC's Dodge and Flo TV created early buzz with spots that clearly targeted men feeling overwhelmed by responsibility and commitment.

The contrasts are stark: As Haiti grapples with chaos, death and despair after last month's earthquake, the world's most famous VIPs party in luxurious fashion in preparation for a football game.
Wyclef Jean — who has been an advocate for his native Haiti since the disaster — was in Miami for those celebrations this week, and understands that the festivities won't stop because of Haiti's pain. But he said he's partying with a purpose.
